Christopher Martin is Assistant Professor at The University of British Columbia. He is the author of Education in a Post-Metaphysical World (Bloomsbury Press, 2014), R.S. Peters (Bloomsbury Press, 2013; with Stefaan Cuypers), and Questioning the Classroom (Oxford University Press, 2016; with Dianne Gereluk, Bruce Maxwell, and Trevor Norris). His current research project, funded by the Spencer Foundation, is on ‘The Aims of Post-Compulsory Education in Liberal Democracies’, examining the educational support of autonomy in adulthood and the implications of this role for normative issues in higher education policy.
